Atreus, Agamemnon's father, brutally fought for power with his brother Thyestes. They had to commit crimes and to pay for their own crimes and others’. But his fate was terrible, and the fate of his son Orestes - even worse. He was the chief of all the Greek forces in the Trojan War and then conquered and destroyed Troy.
